Lo Chai is from a small village in northeastern Cambodia. His father cultivated a two-hectare rice field and his mother raises silkworms. [...] After his very successful BA in June 1996, he was supported by the association Children of the Mekong which allowed him to pursue his graduate studies in Phnom Penh.
[... ] Since 2005, he provides, full-time, coordination and project preparation for "1001 Fountains for Tomorrow" in his country.
He leads the NGO "Teuk Saat" created as a platform to Cambodia to assist local station operators.
On November 6, 2007, Lo has been honored at the World Congress of Junior Chamber International as one of ten Outstanding Young on the planet.
And in November 2011, he has been rewarded as the "Social entrepreneur of the Year 2011" for Asia, by Schwab Foundation.
